2 Days After People: The gasoline supplies of cars run out, eventually stopping them from working any longer.

50 Years After People: Detroit, the city that once manufactured 15 million new cars each year, now sees the same cars decaying on the streets. The tires will have been deflated within 15 years, but the rubber and synthetics will last for centuries.


After 75 years the car is a barely recognizable heap of metal.

 75 Years After People: Many of the cars will have decomposed to steel endoskeletons.
