The Dubai Tower is a 126 storey, 700-metre (2,300 ft) supertall skyscraper that began construction in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in 2010. Construction work was put on hold in 2011. Now, in a world without people, how long will it stand without maintenence?
1 Day After People: Dubai blacks out as the glowing lights of Dubai are never to be seen again.
3 Years After People: A massive category 3 hurricane smashes through Dubai, destroying much of the tower's windows.
30 Years After People: Some of the glass begins to fall out of the building's framework, allowing birds to take homes in the huge building.
60 Years After People: A storm hits Dubai but the tower is not damaged. Though the lower floors are flooded.
75 Years After People: The Dubai Tower was built to withstand earthquakes, but storm damage and 75 years of neglect have weakened the building. The Big One, an earthquake measuring 9.3 on the Richter scale, strikes Dubai. The Dubai Tower collapses onto the Dubai Al Alam. The Cathedral of Dubai is destroyed when the Dubai Al Alam collapses onto it, destroying the replica of the Dubai skyline. The Burj Pentominium is destroyed in the process. Soon the entire complex is reduced to rubble and the Dubai Tower is no more.
