After the collapse of the Hoover Dam, the Colorado River once more flows unimpeded through the Grand Canyon. Over the eons, water carves the canyon even deeper. Sixty million years after people, the canyon is half again as deep as it is in the time of people. As long as the river flows, the canyon will continue to deepen.
