The Great Wall of China is a series of fortifications that were built across the historical northern borders of ancient Chinese states and Imperial China as protection against various nomadic groups from the Eurasian Steppe.[1]

The Great Wall of China is briefly featured in the documentary, in 10,000 years segment. It is one of the few structures featured in the documentary end that still survive without people with the show examined that the Great Wall of China has been aged like mountain and it is subject to erosion.

While the plants continue to climb the wall, the show conclude that on such a large timescale that the Great Wall of China will still be recognizable in 10,000 years after people.
