Lion's Mound, a gigantic statue on a huge artificial hill in Waterloo, Belgium, is a monument to commemorate the Battle of Waterloo.

After 500 years: the huge pedestal of the statue breakes apart. The statue of the Lion itself will remain intact for more than 4000 years. Also the artificial hill is able to survive for tens of thousands of years, because the centre of the hill is filled with concrete and bricks, the rest is sand.
