The John F. Kennedy Space Center is one of the NASA's ten field centers. Since December 1968, KSC has been NASA's primary launch center of human spaceflight. Launch operations for the Apollo, Skylab and Space Shuttle programs were carried out from Kennedy Space Center Launch Complex 39 and managed by KSC.[1]

Coverage[]

The Kennedy Space Center is featured in The Invaders in 100 years after people.

In 100 years, a century of neglect has not been kind to Kennedy Space Center. The show stated that even in the time of humans, alligators were always at its gates and launchpads from the dawn of space exploration already lay abandoned and rusting. The remaining structures and rockets are victimized by repeated South Florida hurricanes, each blows into the outpost. The wind cause the rockets in Kennedy Space Center Rocket Garden to have it's cables to snap and falls, and the wind also took down one of the launch pad of Kennedy Space Center, causing it to collapse. The show concluded that the only creatures waiting to launch in the crumbling center are the hungry vultures.
