The Shroud is destroyed by mold

The Shroud of Turin is a religious artifact. It is a linen shroud that shows the purported body of Christ after crucifixion. Now, in a life after people, how long will it last?

100 years after people, The roof of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist collapses allowing the weather to fall in and the Shroud is exposed to the elements. Sunlight beams onto and degrades the Shroud. The Shroud is now exposed to humidity and this results in the growth of mold on the Shroud. Mold consumes the Shroud’s linen and the image of Jesus Christ soon becomes unrecognizable.
