Park de Cinquantenaire, or the Jubelpark, is a huge public park in Brussels, Belgium. It was built in 1880 to celebrate the fifty years anniversary for Belgian independence. Today the complex includes a war museum, an art museum, a car museum, a park and a mosque. The main bulding is shaped like a horseshoe, with a gate in the middle. The gate has a quadriga, like the Brandenburg Gate, a statue pulled by horses. Does the stone walls of Cinquantenaire outlast the modern city of Brussels?
